The Ohio State University Women's Self-Defense and Martial Arts Club
offers training in Tae Kwon Do and practical self-defense skills for
women and girls of all ages and physical abilities.
No previous training in martial arts is necessary.
Since 1984, the club has trained hundreds of women and children in self-defense, basic safety, and martial arts through special classes, workshops, seminars, and ongoing instruction.
Our objectives are to create a safe space for women to deal with their strengths, weaknesses and needs; to create healthy minds and bodies and to learn respect for ourselves and each other.
