-
Pattern Recognition - Image Analysis - Data Analysis Systems - Applications to X, Gamma,
and Cosmic Ray Astronomy Data - Outreach and Communication

My research interests mainly concerns retrieval and management of
information in the experimental field, particularly on data with low
signal-to-noise ratio and/or low statistics.
Cluster analysis, k-nearest neighbours, deconvolution algorithms,
computational geometry, fuzzy set theory, mathematical morphology, Hough transform,
are some of the tools adopted to define new not-standard methods of
Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis, in the application field of
high-energy astrophysical data.
