My research focuses on the application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning methods in the field of astrophysics and on the analysis of non-thermal emission from young and old supernova remnants. I did my PhD at the Palermo University, affiliated to the Institute of Space Astrophysics and Cosmic Physics (INAF – IASF Palermo, Italy) under the supervision of Giancarlo Cusimano e Antonino D’Aì. My thesis focused on the study of high and very high energy emission from Galactic sources. I also studied, through magneto-hydrodynamical simulations, the evolution of a supernova remnant, from the aftermath of the explosion through its first years of evolution.
